Win a free book!
In order to promote this site, we're running a contest. The idea is simple: whoever does the most work creating summaries between now and September 30th gets two free business books.
The Rules
Since we aren't really able to provide pages of legalese, the rules are simple, and in plain English:
- The contest runs from now until midnight (Pacific Daylight Time) September 30th, 2008.
- The winner is the person, not associated with DedaSys LLC, who contributes the most in that time period, where contributions are measured in terms of letters and characters added to existing or new summaries.
- We expect contributions to be real contributions, and not just filler. We reserve the right to judge what's good and what's junk. If your work isn't perfect, don't worry, this clause is simply to let people know that gaming the system, by, say, copying wikipedia pages isn't ok.
- We will purchase one "reasonably priced" business book from Amazon.com, and have it shipped to the winner. "Reasonably priced" means that we won't pay the whole price if you somehow manage to find a $400 book, or something else way out of line with the price of most books. By "business book" we mean that it ought to appear in the categories listed here.
- Our decisions are final, and we reserve the right to make decisions about any aspect of the contest.
- You are under no obbligation to summarize your free book, but we'd appreciate it - and if the contest goes well, we are likely to run more, so your new book would make great material!
