Summary: Information Rules: A Strategic Guide to the Network Economy about 1 year ago

I’d recommend this one as a book to buy, read, and keep around for reference. The explanations in this book are easy to follow, but the implications are quite profound, at times. It’s fascinating to think about how these rules apply to things you know well - being a programmer, for instance, it’s easy to see how network effects are important for programming environments. More users means more value for everyone due to the fact that there are more people to hire, more companies to work for, more people to ask for help, and more people contributing useful pieces of code here and there for others to use.
