Fisher began his career by dropping out of the Stanford Graduate School of Business to work as a securities analyst for the Anglo-London Bank in San Francisco. Fisher later started his own firm, Fisher & Co, which was founded in 1931. Through the firm, Fisher managed the company’s affairs through the age of retirement.
